I'm a digital journalist in the Denver Post newsroom, a sometimes-programmer and an often-photographer (for myself, though). I'm one of Denver's biggest fans, too, after living here for 24 years. I'm very into music, vintage art and advertising, urban decay, reading, thrifting and dogs. Thanks for stopping by.

sad bird baby animals

Learning to fly in an alley is not a good idea. Seeing what happened to the little bird I watched for three days at lunch breaks, in the few minutes I was getting a sandwich, had quite an impact. The mommy and daddy birds were still hanging around, chirping and seeming confused about what had happened.
